Basketball Recap: Centerville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Centerville came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged the Robinson Rockets out 44-42. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Centerville's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Robinson, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-13.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Centerville Tigers face off against the Normangee Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Normangee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. As for Robinson, they will be home for the holidays to greet Grandview at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
