Baseball Recap: Shepherd Takes a Loss

Shepherd lost to Standish-Sterling back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bluejays lost 7-1 to the Panthers.

Shepherd saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Clevenger, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Clevenger has hit this season.

Shepherd's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Standish-Sterling, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

While Shepherd had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
