Football Recap: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 29-8 to the Morrisville Bulldogs. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 46-20 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Myles Koser threw for 164 yards and one touchdown. Blake Sponenberg was his top target, picking up 79 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Tyson Brown rushed for 31 yards.

Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Morrisville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Montour Vo-Tech will welcome Montrose at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Morrisville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pequea Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
