Softball Recap: Wilson Memorial Comes Up Short

Wilson Memorial fell victim to Broadway and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Gobblers. The Green Hornets haven't had much luck with the Gobblers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wilson Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Broadway, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson Memorial will square off against Buffalo Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Broadway, they will host Turner Ashby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Gobblers 1.7, the Knights 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
