Basketball Recap: Madi Capers Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Keller

There's no place like home for Bell, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They snuck past the Keller Indians with a 31-26 win on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-39 back in November of 2024.

Bell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madi Capers led the charge by putting up eight points and eight rebounds. Hannah Due was another key player, posting seven points and three steals.

Bell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

As for Keller, they will welcome Keller Central at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Keller is facing Keller Central at the right time seeing as Keller Central is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
