Berkeley Prep was the 6-1 winner over Tampa Prep when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Terrapins on Tuesday. The Buccaneers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Berkeley Prep saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jett Walters, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Walters launched this season.

Berkeley Prep's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Tampa Prep, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkeley Prep will take on Lemont at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Buccaneers 2.4, the Lemont HS 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Tampa Prep, they will square off against Sports Leadership & Management at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
