Football Recap: McMinnville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If McMinnville was feeling good fresh off their 40-0 takedown of McKay last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Grizzlies lost 52-26 to the Liberty Falcons on Friday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

McMinnville dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Liberty, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McMinnville is set to face off against their familiar foe Newberg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Liberty will take on rival Glencoe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
