If McClintock was feeling good fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Central last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alhambra Lions on Friday. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

McClintock saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Wisehart, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Gerald Glen also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

McClintock's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Alhambra, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

McClintock will welcome Metro Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Alhambra, they have already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Willow Canyon on the 14th.
