Volleyball Game Preview: Nash Central Bulldogs vs. Louisburg Warriors + How To Watch

The Nash Central Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Louisburg Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nash Central will be strutting in after a victory while Louisburg will be coming in after a defeat.

Nash Central was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past Wake Prep Academy 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since October 14, 2024.

Nash Central wouldn't go down easily and took Wake Prep Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 27-25, 25-16, 20-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Louisburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Bunn.

While Louisburg ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-19.

Louisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Nash Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Nash Central took their win against Louisburg when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
