Recap: Manchester Memorial Crusaders vs. Manchester Central Little Green
The Manchester Memorial Crusaders's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They put the hurt on Manchester Central with a sharp 56-33 win. The victory was just what Manchester Memorial needed coming off of a 62-27 loss in their prior game.
NyAsia McKelvey was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games she's played. Torle Adumene was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Manchester Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Manchester Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester Memorial will take on Alvirne at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Alvirne will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Manchester Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
