Clover entered their tilt with Northwestern on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Trojans. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Clover's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Northwestern are ranked 146th).

Clover hit Northwestern with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Samuel Sykes, Carter Sayle, Carter Kennington, and Tyler Koppe.

Clover's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. As for Northwestern, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
