Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Spring Valley lost against T.L. Hanna back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by VictoriaIsabelle Diaz-Mitchell and Ava Temoney, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Isabella Talde and her six assists. Temoney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for T.L. Hanna, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Spring Valley and T.L. Hanna will both be playing Batesburg-Leesville the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Panthers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Yellow Jackets will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
