Baseball Game Preview: Everman Bulldogs vs. Cleburne Yellowjackets

Everman hasn't had much luck against Cleburne recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Everman 3.5, Cleburne 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Everman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Venus with a sharp 16-3 victory on Saturday. Everman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cleburne's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Joshua on Tuesday. Yellowjackets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Owls since on Tuesday.

Cleburne's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Everman, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-10.
