Soccer Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Trinity Christian was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers. If Trinity Christian were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Central Fellowship Christian Academy when the teams met back in March of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Trinity Christian's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-1.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will square off against Gatewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Vidalia Heritage Academy on the 28th.
