Softball Recap: Cole Valley Christian's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Cole Valley Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 6-2 to the Pocatello Thunder. The loss was the Chargers' first of the season.

Cole Valley Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brinkley Lauderdale, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Lauderdale hit this season. Another was Abbie English, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cole Valley Christian fell to 3-1. As for Pocatello, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Cole Valley Christian is taking a road trip to take on Capital at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pocatello, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lake City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake City has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.33 runs per game on average), something Pocatello will no doubt try to take advantage of.
