Westlake Charter came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Elite, but Amir Goss wouldn't allow it. The Elite Eagles blew past the Westlake Charter Explorers 64-43 on Tuesday thanks in part to Goss, who posted 19 points. The contest was his ninth in a row with at least 15 points.

Several Explorers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brian Ash, who put up eight points and four steals. Ash is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarriel Taylor, who scored two points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Elite has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-19 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points over those games. Westlake Charter's record now sits at 15-5.

Coming up, Elite will face off against Victory Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. One thing working in Elite's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. As for Westlake Charter, they have already played their next contest, a 100-19 win against Delta on the 14th.
