Preview: Moore County Raiders vs. Forrest Rockets
The Moore County Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Forrest Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Moore County was beaten by Summertown 83-39. Moore County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Forrest had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 51-31 margin over Cornersville.
Brayson McCown and Ben Villazon were among the main playmakers for Forrest as the former scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds and the latter scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The game was McCown's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kelley Toombs, who scored 10 points.
Cascade's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Moore County's defeat dropped theirs to 0-1.
Moore County was able to grind out a solid win over Forrest in their previous matchup back in January, winning 43-35. Will Moore County repeat their success, or does Forrest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
