Soccer Game Preview: Harbor vs. Aptos

The Harbor Pirates will head out to take on the Aptos Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Harbor will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Harbor proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Santa Cruz 2-1. The game was the first time Harbor have beaten Santa Cruz on their pitch since January 18, 2022.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aptos). They put the hurt on Scotts Valley with a sharp 6-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for Aptos in their matchups with Scotts Valley: they've now won nine in a row.

Harbor's record now sits at 12-1-1. As for Aptos, their record is now 5-0-2.

Harbor couldn't quite get it done against Aptos when the teams last played back in February of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
