Softball Recap: Wake Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Wake Christian Academy lost against Harrells Christian Academy last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs lost 13-4 to the Crusaders. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wake Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Wulf, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Wulf snagged this season.

Wake Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wake Christian Academy will head out to square off against Franklin Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Wayne Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
