Humboldt falls despite strong effort from Sam Hull

Recap: Humboldt Cubs vs. Crest Lancers
After a string of three wins, the Humboldt Cubs's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 44-27 to Crest. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Humboldt has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Humboldt still got an impressive performance from Sam Hull, who scored ten points.
Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Crest, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Humboldt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Erie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crest's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
