Soccer Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Ketchikan Kings, falling 5-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ketchikan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Houston and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Ketchikan, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Houston will venture away from home to square off against Palmer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ketchikan, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Homer at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
