Stevens Point is 9-1 against Marshfield since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Stevens Point 3.2, Marshfield 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Stevens Point got the win against Wausau West by a conclusive 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Stevens Point got a great performance from Reegan Kedrowski as she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, Sophia Abundiz was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Addi Peskie was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Stevens Point hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 13 consecutive games.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Marshfield ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out D.C. Everest 7-6. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Stevens Point's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Marshfield, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Stevens Point beat Marshfield 7-4 in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
