East Limestone was the 3-2 winner over Westminster Christian Academy when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kailey Matthews was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

East Limestone's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, East Limestone will face off against Priceville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Westminster Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
