Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Miles Jackson and Zaire Sykes Lead North Springs to Victory + How To Watch

There's no place like home for North Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Clarkston Angoras 28-6 on Friday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Angoras recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

A big part of North Springs' win came down to the chemistry between Zaire Sykes and his top target Miles Jackson. Sykes gained 115 total yards and two touchdowns while Jackson rushed for 39 yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave Sykes a new career-high in rushing yards (24).

North Springs' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Clarkston, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, North Springs and Clarkston will both be playing St. Pius X Catholic the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Golden Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Angoras will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on October 3.
