Basketball Recap: Vidor Comes Up Short

Vidor lost against Silsbee back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vidor Pirates fell 55-44 to the Silsbee Tigers.

Silsbee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Troy Rice led the charge by going 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points along with six boards and three steals. Billy Boulwen was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Vidor's loss dropped their record down to 23-10. As for Silsbee, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-13.

Coming up, Vidor will host Hudson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Silsbee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
