Soccer Game Preview: Brookfield vs. Litchfield

The Brookfield Bobcats will square off against the Litchfield Cowboys at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Brookfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Brookfield is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Notre Dame Prep, who was ranked 13th at the time (Brookfield was ranked 17th). The Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Lancers on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Litchfield fell victim to Terryville and their airtight defense last Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kangaroos. Litchfield have struggled against Terryville recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-2-4. As for Litchfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
