Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hubbertville walked away with it. They snuck past the Hackleburg Panthers with a 76-70 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Hubbertville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Blaize Wakefield out in front who went 7 for 12 on his way to 19 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Kane Rushing was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 14 boards.

Hubbertville's win bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Hackleburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-8.

As of now, neither Hubbertville nor Hackleburg have any future games scheduled.
