Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oconomowoc). They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Waukesha South Blackshirts on Tuesday. Give Oconomowoc's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Oconomowoc pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Waukesha South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-1.

Looking ahead, Oconomowoc will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Muskego at 6:30 p.m. Muskego will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Oconomowoc surely won't give up without a fight.
