Soccer Game Preview: Tuscola vs. North Henderson

The Tuscola Mountaineers will face off against the North Henderson Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuscola will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Tuscola's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over East Henderson. Tuscola might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

They hit East Henderson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gracie Rinker, Emma Clancy, and Haven Roth.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Henderson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Franklin on Monday. Reese Smith had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble North Henderson got from the refs.

Tuscola's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those six contests. As for North Henderson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

Tuscola was able to grind out a solid win over North Henderson in their previous matchup back in March, winning 5-3. Do the Mountaineers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
