Basketball Recap: Albany Find Success

Albany won the last time they faced Saratoga Springs, and Mia Corazzini did her part to make sure it happened again. The Albany Falcons took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 68-16 victory over the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks thanks in part to Corazzini, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Another player making a difference was Jasani Francis Torras, who posted 11 points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played.

Albany's record now sits at 3-1. As for Saratoga Springs, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Albany will welcome White Plains at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Saratoga Springs, they and Shenendehowa will face off at 12:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
