Basketball Game Preview: Maine Central Institute Huskies vs. Erskine Academy Eagles

The Maine Central Institute Huskies and the Erskine Academy Eagles will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Saturday, Maine Central Institute came up short against Maranacook and fell 59-49. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Black Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Erskine Academy beat Waterville 38-34 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The victory got Erskine Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Maine Central Institute, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Maine Central Institute was able to grind out a solid win over Erskine Academy in their previous matchup last Tuesday, winning 46-36. Will Maine Central Institute repeat their success, or does Erskine Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
