Soccer Recap: Alvarado Comes Up Short

Alvarado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Godley Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 563rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 118th).

Alvarado's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Godley, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Alvarado will take on Life Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Life Waxahachie will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Alvarado surely won't give up without a fight. As for Godley, they will venture away from home to challenge Venus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
