Football Recap: Tri-County Cavaliers vs. Faith Christian Eagles
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-County). They blew past the Faith Christian Eagles, posting a 56-0 victory at home. Considering the Cavaliers have won four matchups by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Tri-County was led to victory by Jonathan Pearson and Ayden Justice. Pearson rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while Justice rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown. Tri-County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. As for Faith Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-County will head out to take on Frontier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
