            Softball Recap: McBain Ramblers vs. Marion Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            McBain barely beat Marion the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Ramblers blew past the Eagles 11-1 on Wednesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Ramblers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Maddy Fancett was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Fancett was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Olivia Peterson was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.  Olivia Bosscher was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.

McBain's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.
 Looking ahead, McBain will be playing in front of their home fans against Glen Lake  at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Marion, they will head out to  face off against Manton  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday.
