It's playoff time, and Mount Desert Island had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Houlton Shiretowners 46-8 on Thursday. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mount Desert Island's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Houlton, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.
