Soccer Recap: Weber Takes a Loss

Weber fought the good fight in their overtime game against Farmington on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 1-0. That makes it the first time this season Weber have let down their home crowd.

Weber's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Farmington, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Weber will venture away from home to challenge Fremont at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Farmington, they will head out to face off against Wasatch at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wasatch will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Farmington surely won't give up without a fight.
