Soccer Recap: Cedar Valley Triumphs

Cedar Valley's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out the Dixie Flyers 2-1. That's two games straight that Cedar Valley have won by just one goal.

Olivia Jones and Mckenna Myers scored both of Cedar Valley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Cedar Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Dixie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Valley will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Alta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dixie, they will face off against Canyon View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
