After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beecher, Reed-Custer was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Peotone Blue Devils. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Comets this season.

The victory snapped Reed-Custer's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-10 record. As for Peotone, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Reed-Custer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
