Charlotte had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They blew past the Knippa Crushers 17-2. Considering the Trojans have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Charlotte pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Knippa, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte will square off against Falls City at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Charlotte will need to watch out since Falls City has now posted at least ten runs in their last seven games. As for Knippa, they will challenge Brackett at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Brackett has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.89 runs per game on average), something Knippa will no doubt try to take advantage of.
