Soccer Recap: Bluegrass United Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Bluegrass United unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Christian Educational Consortium Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Bluegrass United couldn't quite close it out.

The win got Christian Educational Consortium back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluegrass United will head out to face off against Scott at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they will venture away from home to square off against Pleasure Ridge Park at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
