Football Recap: Gretna Beats Appomattox County for Their Eighth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Gretna hadn't done well against Appomattox County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hawks came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 30-22. Things were looking grim for the Hawks in the second quarter (they were down by 22) but they stormed back to get the game.

It was another big night for Rayshaun Logan, who rushed for 120 yards and two scores on only 12 carries, and also threw for 239 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.4% of his passes.

The win (which was Gretna's eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games.
