Stryker had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Edon Bombers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

Stryker wouldn't go down easily and took Edon into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-11, 15-6.

Aubrey Clemens paced Stryker's offense, picking up 19 kills. Clemens got some help from Reiss Creighton and her 19 assists. Creighton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Allie Ruffer, each putting up three.

Stryker's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Edon, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Stryker and Edgerton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Edon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
