Softball Game Preview: Great Falls Red Devils vs. Lee Central Stallions

The Great Falls Red Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Lee Central Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Great Falls hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Great Falls fell victim to Lewisville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Meanwhile, Lee Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to Lamar, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Great Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lee Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Great Falls couldn't quite get it done against Lee Central when the teams last played back in February of 2017 as they fell 8-4. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
