Football Game Preview: Moore County Raiders vs. Fayetteville Tigers + How To Watch

The Moore County Raiders will challenge the Fayetteville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moore County is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

On Friday, Moore County lost to Smith County on the road by a 27-13 margin.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last game, Fayetteville made sure to put some points up on the board against Huntland two weeks ago. The Tigers claimed a resounding 41-7 win over the Hornets. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Moore County better keep an eye on Nyles Barnett. He was instrumental in Fayetteville's win, throwing for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only seven passes, while also rushing for 32 yards.

Fayetteville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 313 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Fayetteville's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Moore County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Moore County couldn't quite get it done against Fayetteville in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 as they fell 35-28. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
