Waunakee had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Sun Prairie West on Friday. The Warriors claimed a resounding 48-13 victory over the Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three contests by 35 points or more so far this season.

The win keeps Waunakee at an undefeated 4-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.0 points on average this season. As for Sun Prairie West, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
