Basketball Recap: Washington Academy Comes Up Short

Washington Academy lost against Old Town back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Washington Academy Raiders took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Old Town Coyotes. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Old Town, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Academy and Hermon will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Old Town will take on Foxcroft Academy in a holiday battle at at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
