 Saint Viator was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They lost  22-10 to the Loyola Academy Ramblers. That's two games in a row now that Saint Viator has lost by  exactly 12  runs.
  Maggie Ratzki and  Alexis Horn did some serious damage despite the final result:  Ratzki  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while  Horn  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Stella Zafiris, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base.
 On Loyola Academy's side,  Paige Smith was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.  Sophie Wilhelm was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Saint Viator's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Loyola Academy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Viator's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Glenbrook South at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Loyola Academy will take on Benet Academy at 4:45  p.m.  on Wednesday.
