Basketball Recap: Bella Vista's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Bella Vista needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Mark Otrotsyuk. The Bella Vista Broncos enjoyed a cozy 73-59 victory over the Del Campo Cougars on Friday thanks in part to Otrotsyuk, who went 9 of 14 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points. Those 30 points gave him a new career-high.

Jonah Wooden was another key player, putting up six points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Bella Vista's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14. As for Del Campo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Bella Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-68 victory against Ponderosa on the 29th. Del Campo has also already played their next contest, a 57-48 loss against Twelve Bridges on the 29th.
