Volleyball Recap: Brio College Prep Falls to USC Hybrid in First Game of Season

Brio College Prep had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the USC Hybrid Trojans on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-17.

USC Hybrid had a senior duo take command as Francisco Sandoval had 32 digs and three aces and Anthony Ramirez had five aces, four digs, and four blocks. Sandoval has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elsworth Felix, who had 14 kills and one block.

USC Hybrid pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Brio College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for USC Hybrid, they will face off against New Designs University Park at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
