Volleyball Recap: Adrian Takes a Loss

Adrian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Madison Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss back in August.

Adrian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15.

Adrian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16-1. As for Madison, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-12-2 record this season.

Adrian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sand Creek on the 18th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Clinton on the 18th.
